I was born and raised in Jordan. I received my medical degree from Jordan University of science and technology. I completed my internal medicine training at the Icahn school of medicine at Mount Sinai, NY. In addition to post-graduate training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of New Mexico, I trained in hospice and palliative medicine at the Virginia Tech SOM. Along side my training in pulmonary and critical care, my training in palliative care provided me with tools that help me best take care of the sickest of my patients as well as their families.
My training is pulmonary diseases and critical care enables me to take care of patients with chronic and complex pulmonary conditions. It also allows me to establish long-term relationship with my patients and their families. Most of my patients call me “Dr. A”. I look forward for the opportunity to be a part of taking care of your loved ones.
I have lived in many places in the United States. The South West is certainly my favorite because our litte family enjoys all outdoor activities and the sunshine you can have here. There is something soothing about the open planes at the SW.
